Full of Luck Club Review

Posted on Monday, October 31, 2016

Had lunch at Full of Luck Club by Li Bai with the daddy since it's near home. It looks really fancy and expensive from the outside, but in reality their lunch set was surprisingly affordable at S$9.80++ for any two flavours of their "Baos" (those two adorable burgers above) + a drink.

Naturally I chose Salted Egg Prawn Bao (can never resist salted egg) and Braised Pork Belly Bao cause it seemed classic, along with an iced peach tea, but they also have other flavours like smoked duck, kung pao fried chicken or panko-crusted portobello.

We were worried it wouldn't be enough, so we added on some mains - Braised Seabass with Tofu (S$22.00+), Hakka Crispy Kurobuta Pork Belly (S$18.00++), and the Crispy Salmon Skin with Salted Egg Yolk (S$6.80++), all quite average and I would recommend ordering anything else except these, haha :'D

Anyway, the interiors are very charming and unique, and it was quite funny how the lady taking our orders was also the same person who went to the open kitchen to make our Baos. Also, while I loved the concept of having a complementary fortune cookie at the end of our meal, ours were disappointingly soggy and didn't have our fortune inside, just a small slip of paper with a four digit number... to go buy 4D?

But either way, I would still consider coming back here just for the Bao Lunch Set alone because I think it's tasty, cute, and quite value for money to sit in such a nice place!
