Hello! So I disappeared for a while over the weekend for project work, but before that I went out with Jess and Os for drinks! Just usual friend stuff. Poor Os has had a hard few weeks (we all have - I'm writing this at 1:00am in the morning with 1hour of sleep from the night before!!) so drinks are very much in order, especially on Fridays :D

So Sauce Bar is kind of the number one place for most people I know to go get drinks because a) It's near school b) $5 beer all night c) AWESOME bar bites and d) $5 BEER ALL NIGHT!!! That said, it's almost compulsory to get a reservation, especially on the weekends. They're customer service is incredibly unresponsive anytime before 5:00pm so don't waste your time over it!
Also, I'd say give the mains at Sauce a miss. I ordered the The Braised Chicken ($15.00++) and it looks nice here, but it was way, way too dry inside. I don't cook, but I find it pretty rare to get chicken legs that have been done wrong in restaurants! Booo!
That said, their bar bites are, and always have been, spectacular! Didn't get pictures because I was too busy stuffing my face with their Garlic Mushrooms ($8.00++) and Quesadillas ($12.00++). It's a pity they don't still have their buy-a-beer-and-get-$5.00-bar-bites promotion so I could stuff my face even more. Ah well! Can't have everything.
