25th Jan was a Korean BBQ day at Ssikkek Korean BBQ ($26.00++) with the SMU Business Society 7th Ex-co! I can't say I am a huge fan of Korean BBQs because there's so much meat, and after a while everything tastes like it's been drenched in the same sauce, but it's still a fun, interactive way to have dinner instead of the usual sit down meals, since it's a buffet. Besides nearly choking and dying on the squid rings, it was nice to hang out with (almost) everyone from the ex-co again since they've been away on exchange, and also extending our meal time hang out to some family-friendly KTV at the Ten Dollar Club in Chinatown. It almost feels as if I was back to two years ago when we were still in the committee, and nothing has changed since.
