Threeblindmice Flea

Posted on Saturday, March 1, 2014

ASOS Culottes | The Scarletroom Crop Top
Miss Selfridge Sling Bag | Steve Madden Shoes

I did a huge closet cleanse once I came back from exchange - anything that I hadn't worn for over a year was out and into the "flea" pile, hence Coco and I decided to try out the ThreeBlindMice Flea last weekend, and got a booth at just $65/day (thanks Aloy :D)

The flea itself was really well organized because one thing we were concerned about was what to eat for lunch since the F1 Pit Building is in the middle of nowhere, but of course there were plenty of food stalls which the organizers brought in to solve our problems! Also, it's nice that we have allocated booths because that meant no stress and rushing to get down to the flea ASAP before all the good booths are gone. There was plenty of traffic thanks to the publicity from all the bloggers - however this was a detriment to us "normal" people since customers probably used all their spending power on the bloggers/blogshops and not us :( Also, unlike the Lucky Plaza flea, the crowd that came here was much more discerning on what they wanted to buy, so I didn't sell as much as I would! But anyway, Aloysius was very generous to offer us another booth for the next TBM flea, so Coco and I are excited to give it another chance when it comes back in June!

For Flea Sake!

Posted on Friday, October 26, 2012

Hi guys! Meet my flea partner in crime, Melissa! It's been a while since I last flea-ed with For Flea Sake at *SCAPE, but we decided to do one for the sake of our exploding wardrobes and you could say, a need to liquidate our assets! I'd say it was pretty good in general, despite it raining like crazy at around 6pm and half our clothes getting drenched, but all in all i managed to earn the most money ever from a flea! We also had very useful help from Melissa's boyfriend, Hann Khee, who's much needed muscle power helped us to set up the clothes rack and get us some heavenly Gong cha.

If you'd like to read more of what Melissa has to say, you can visit her blog here!
