E-main and Jiehui are some of the nicest, most supportive friends I have, so when they both told me they wanted to go to Symmetry, I figured that everyone should just meet! Had a fun time being retarded and insisting on sitting outside just cause it was prettier (although it was so warm!!!) Actually, the interior of Symmetry was pretty cool as well (in both senses), but face it - what attracted us to even come was the awesome green doors!

Food wise we went at 4pm, so the only thing available on the menu at that time was Truffle Fries ($15.00++). We ordered two buckets but actually I think one bucket would have been enough because there was SO MUCH. Drinks weren't cheap either - about $10.00++ a person, but luckily for us Jiehui is super well connected on the cafe scene and her nice friend gave us a discount - yay! Anyway, I definitely think we'll be back to try the brunch menu soonish! And be smarter this time to sit indoors hehe.

I jumped straight out of school and into employment. Yes, I have a job and skipped the whole aimless "what do i do with my life phase", but that said, I wouldn't have minded just a week or two off to chill once exams ended since I kind of hit the ground running ever since I came back from exchange. YET at the same time, it feels good to be at a nice little company where it's actually fun to wake up and head into work, and skip the whole headache of job hunting. Weekends are precious, and I work on personal projects, even after work itself. ALL I TALK ABOUT IS WORK. I guess this is the start of the rest of my life, and I didn't realise how soon it was going to start.

All i seem to talk about how busy I am on this blog, and I really am - but somehow I still find time to go out with friends amidst all my commitments. Maybe the more busy you get, the more time important it is to put aside time for social activities because every spare moment is precious, you know?


I only hear of Pasarbella cause of Jiehui! She's much more hipz than i am hehe. They had a pop-up event going on at Marina Bay Sands a couple of weekends ago, so we rounded up the guys and headed down!


Pretty nice set up, lots of people around and light show stuff going on (to distract the people while we grab the food? :>)



Stars of the night! Everything else was overpriced for the quality IMO - and we tried almost every shop! Personal favourite was the grilled Squid (had 2 portions for $10.00 each), and everyone else raved over the Omasake Burger ($20.00ish) that Sloth bought and everyone else gobbled up hahaha. Guess it was that good!

Hi all! Do check out the Lookbook collaboration with sisters Sipei and Jien that has just launched on The Ordinary Co's Facebook page! We've been working tirelessly on it for the past two weeks and it's really great to see the ideas come to life.

I'm usually bursting with ideas on what to do for shoots (I already have at least 7 ideas all lined up in my head. Any takers???) but there are always limitations on how creative you can get. Partnering with Wit x Folly was definitely a dream come true for me because I'd been shamefully spying on their lovely artwork for a while - and when sweet Sipei pitched the idea to me, I immediately jumped onto it! Anyway, I'll cover more about it later on when my body isn't crying for sleep or something. I swear non-stop work is going to get to me soon :(

Oops a bit laggy but here are pictures from Justin's 26th birthday last weekend at Ah Orh Seafood Restaurant, which is his favourite because it sells teochew style zhi char! Anway as redonk as they are, it's sweet that Justin has a firm group of friends who want to celebrate his birthday with him. So other than defiling the party hats i bought and giving Justin the "best" gift ever (a knitting set - which they spent a whole month advertising how mysterious and wonderful it was), the birthday boy was really happy at the end of the day - which is what matters! Happy birthday to this one who is officially closer to 30 than 20!

Random tips: The maximum table seating capacity for most zhi char restaurants is usually twelve. Called a number of places and they all said the same thing, so big parties, beware!
