Left: Before post-processing, Right: Post-processing with LR4

So I've finally made the leap from Adobe Lightroom 3 to Adobe Lightroom 4! For those of you who don't know, Lightroom is a program which I use to post-process my photos to get awesome colours and make them even more interesting.

If you are debating whether to it's useful to make the jump from Lightroom 3 to 4, I say go for it! Once you open Lightroom 4, it automatically helps you update and import your old pictures and presets over from Lightroom 3, so you don't have to worry about losing any information at all. Also one important difference I noted is that my custom presets are much more organized now, so it cuts down even more time when i'm editing (so more blog posts, yay!).

While there are other post-processing programs to use, such as Aperture, I started with Lightroom and kind of stuck to it. Perhaps one day i'll try Aperture, when i'm done experimenting with Lightroom!
