Just for today I got to be the one taking care of Justin. He almost never needs taking care of, even when he's down with something. The poor dear had to go for surgery because his silly arm has dislocated so many times to such an extreme that any simple sudden movement could put it out of place. Anyway, we waited for almost 3 hours for him to come out from under, and it really it was a relief to finally walk into his room and see him awake! Stayed until the end of visiting hours just chilling and watching videos together before I had to leave for the night. Ultimately, he's fine and checked out of the hospital. Sometimes I wonder if I could have done anything to make him more comfortable, or if I am any good a caregiver, but I guess I have 6 weeks to practice!
