Blueprint

Posted on Thursday, May 23, 2013

This whole weekend was kind of like Singapore's Fashion Week. After heading the Audi Fashion Festival with Jess; Po Xian, Coco and I decided to head down to The Blueprint Emporium, what they call "Asia's fashion gateway", which provides a space many fresh and upcoming designers from Asia to set up booths to showcase and sell their past collections. But really, it's just an excuse for Singapore's fashionistas to dress up and walk around - and much star spotting did we do! Highlights of the day would be Coco and myself being spotted by Japan's NTV crew to do a little interview on what we were wearing today, getting free Tiong Bahru Bakery tea (thanks to Po, who had extra coupons from working at the event :D) and really breathing in the whole Asian fashion scene. 10 years ago it would seem almost impossible to think of any sort of career in fashion here in Singapore, but maybe it's a not so distant dream these days.
