& Other Stories Top (loving this to death)
As you all may or may not know, Karlsruhe is a pretty small and boring city but one of its saving graces for me is having met a group of really awesome people. Anyway, on Monday I made it a point to visit one of my favourite and first friends here in Karlsruhe, Stefanie, while she was working at the cafe in her uni! It was nice to just chill and chit chat with her while she served customers, and not to mention she fed me with all the yummy Lotus biscuits I could ask for, so yeah, I was pretty happy haha. One of the interesting concepts this cafe has is that the students can bake something at home and sell it to the cafe, in which the cafe will buy on the spot and sell it to throughout the day to its customers. While this isn't possible in Singapore because of all our food safety laws, it's still a pretty cool idea for students who could use some extra cash! Anyway, I think it's days like this I will miss the most after exchange, the small little things, you know?
