Just an afternoon spent in the company of Trishna.
It's been a real blessing to have her support for TOC, and as a friend as well. You can tell a lot about people's characters when things like "fame" come into play - especially with Instagram these days. We both strongly believe in the concept that if you take, you give back - if someone scratches your back to remember to scratch back, and of course, not to forget the little people along the way who helped you in one way or another.
I recently had to be reminded of why I do this (blog) - I first started my blog to be more YOLO, but these days I'm honestly satisfied with my life, haha. "Sad people don't write diaries," - so of course another reason to run this blog would be for the "fame and glory". I know people are reading - this blog can hit 500, even 700 page views in a day if the content is interesting enough - but then I started looking at the numbers rather than just enjoying the whole process of blogging - which was YOLO.
What I'm saying is, the latter doesn't spur the creation of good content. I need to remember to create content for myself so that when I look back and read old posts I am reminded of all the small things that I forgot - hope you guys enjoy the journey!
